The open-source Ubuntu smartphone OS expected to come in 2014.
Even though it shows every much similarities to most of the modern mobile operating systems like, Android, RIM’s Blackberry, Web OS, Palm, it has a promising potential to compete for the first three places in mobile industry.
Its very hard to complement any other mobile OS being an Android fan from the beginning, even before they release the Android OS, I have been a fan since the development stage. Now I see the same potential in this Ubuntu Smartphone OS. I hope they allow users to dual-boot (side-load) Android and Ubuntu together in single device

I suggest the most interesting reason why users are willing to kick off google’s android for ubuntu is that google is spying their users for search, and who knows for what else ; ) let’s see how it will finally work out, but I see a lot of potential for mobile ubuntu!
